19:00 22/09/07 - Intercom failed - horrible noise for hours!

I was on the 19:00 Dublin - Cork service on 22/09/07, the intercom system seemed to fail producing the most painfully annoying feedback sound for about 2 hours. I actually thought I was going to go completely insane and contemplated getting off at one of the intermediate stops to escape the noise.

No one did anything about it!!!

Are CIE doing CIA torture tests on paying passengers now? or what?!
