Default Annual Ticket Validity

Hi!

Sorry if this has been covered previously.

I have a "Point to Point" ticket from Sallins to Lansdowne Road. Seeing as this is past the "Short Hop" zone, would my ticket cover me for travel from Maynooth to Lansdowne?

Also, does anyone know if there will ever be a proper "Medium Hop" ticket that will cover outer commuter routes + all Dublin Bus / Luas?

The point to point style ticket really limits me. I use Dublin Bus in the morning and the DART in the evening. I have to pay daily for the bus. Do I have any alternative?

Thanks,
Brian.
