[08/11/2013] Dart and Northern line delays 6pm

10 min delays northbound, impacting Drogheda trains through Malahide worst. No announcements on platforms or on trains so no ideas on reason. One of the worst weeks for delays on the northern suburban line. Not a single train I used for the last 10 journeys arrived within 5 mins of the scheduled arrival, despite lot's of padding.

Most of the problems appear to be rooted in very poor DART performance and less than nimble traffic management. While there have been a few days where poor rail conditions could take some of the blame, the performance on cool, crisp dry days has been little better.
