Night Luas trams will run on the Luas Green Line from St. Stephen’s Green to Brides Glen at 1.00am, 1.30am, 2.00am, 2,30am, 3.00am and 3.30am on:

. Friday December 14th
· Saturday December 15th
· Friday December 21st
· Saturday December 22nd
· New Year’s Eve Monday December 31st

To use Night Luas you require a Night Luas ticket; there are three options for Night Luas tickets:
1) Buy your Night Luas ticket from a Luas Ticket Machine for €4.00
2) Use your Luas SmartCard or Leap Card and pay a fare of €3.80
3) Use your Annual Luas Ticket, Annual Bus / Luas Ticket or Annual Rail / Luas ticket. No other tickets are valid.

Please ensure you buy your Night Luas ticket BEFORE travelling.

Nitelink Christmas and New Years Eve Services 2012

All routes will operate a limited service at 00:30hrs and 02:00hrs on Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th, Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th.

A full service will operate on all routes on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th, Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd, Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Monday 31st December.

Please note there are no nitelink services on the following dates;
Sunday 16th, Monday 17th, Sunday 23rd, Monday 24th (Christmas Eve), Tuesday 25th (Christmas Day), Wednesday 26th (St. Stephen's Day), Thursday 27th and Sunday 30th.

You can pay on the bus with coins only. Please note that banknotes are not accepted as our bus drivers do not handle cash therefore no change can be given. You can also pay with a prepaid ticket.

Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th December 2012

Normal weekday service will operate on all routes. A full City Tour and Ghostbus Tour service will operate. All Nitelink routes will operate at 00:30 and 02:00.


Friday 21st December 2012

A normal weekday service will operate on all routes. A full Nitelink, City Tour and Ghostbus Tour service will operate.


Saturday 22nd December 2012

Normal Saturday service will operate on all routes. A full Nitelink, City Tour, South Coast and Ghostbus Tour service will operate.


Sunday 23rd December 2012

Normal Sunday service will operate on all routes. Nitelink, City Tour, South Coast and Ghostbus Tour services will not operate.


Monday 24th December 2012

A normal weekday service will operate up to 21.00 hrs, with the following exceptions: -

- There will be no service on routes 25x, 27x, 32x, 33d, 33x, 41x, 46e, 51d, 51x, 66x, 67x, 69x, 77x, 116 and 118. There will be a limited service on the 84x, the 10:30 and 13:30 from Newcastle and the 12:00 and 15:50 departures from Trinity College will not operate. Also the 17:30 84 from Newcastle will not operate.
- Nitelink, City Tour and Ghostbus Tour services will not operate.
- Airlink Services from Heuston Station, Dublin Airport and Ferry Port will operate after 21:00 hrs as required.

No Service.


Wednesday 26th December 2012

A normal Sunday service will operate on all routes. Nitelink, City Tour and Ghostbus Tour services will not operate.


Thursday 27th December 2012

A normal weekday service will operate on all routes with the exception of the routes listed below. A full City Tour and Ghostbus Tour service will operate. Nitelink services will not operate.

Full normal service during Christmas Eve with services from 18:00 departing for Dublin City Centre every 15 minutes. The final service from Dublin Airport to Ballsbridge will depart at 23:05, and the final services from Dublin Airport to Leopardstown will depart at 23:20 and then approximately 30 minutes after the final flight has landed.

The last departure from Leopardstown to Dublin Airport on Christmas Eve will be at 20:30.

Airport Hopper Christmas 2012 Operating Schedule

Happy Christmas everyone! If you are travelling abroad for Christmas we would like to advise you that the only day the Airport Hopper service will NOT operate during the Christmas period will be Christmas Day, December 25th 2012.

Our 06:20hr service TO the airport and 07:00hr service FROM the airport will not operate from 22nd December to 1st January inclusive.

Our normal schedule will resume on the 2nd January 2013. We hope you have a nice festive holiday.
