Default Sallins CCTV

Hi,

Is the CCTV at the Naas side of Sallins station in working / recording order?

My car was damaged today, all thanks to the yellow box being blocked by two cars preventing others from getting out, unless the scrapped by me...

If it is, who do I contact to see about getting access to the tape? Someone owes me at least €600...

Thanks,
Brian

Unlikely it works

Best thing would be to report the incident to the gardai at least they have a chance to get the tape

You can also send a Data Protection Act request to Iarnród Éireann, Connolly Station, Dublin 1 with a fee of €6.35 asking for all information they have about you to include CCTV records, but I'm not sure they're obliged to show you times when you weren't there.

That may work, but the gardai route provides a record of the incident

cement or mortar was dripped on my car one day in Rush and Lusk Station. I complained to the ticket office guy the next morning who gave me the station master's number in Balbriggan.
I rang balbriggan but phone rang out
When I got back to the station that evening, the cenent/mortar had been cleaned off my car bonnet /wing which had been fully cleaned and polished.

at no stage did I tell anyone my car type, so they'd have to have checked the cctv. in your case unfortunately, the fact you couldn't claim directly against IE would reduce their speed in checking the cctv footage. but I'd say there probably is some.
