[15-12-2005] DART disruption evening
A DART failed in Seapoint at approx 17:10 due to an electrical fault which required all passengers to dismbark and has delayed northbound services by approx 10 minutes
On the upside they apologised like mad but who cares the apology means nothing |

At least they apologised! Did they make the announcement of the problem? Did it take long?

I heard the whole thing live over the phone thanks to Tom
Driver tried to recouple the train and gave up called it a failure apologised next train was only 5 minutes away. Followed by station PA roughly 5 minutes later Whole delay was cleared promptly and services where little effected really |

Seemed to be a defective electrical connection so train uncoupled front unit from second unit and recoupled to see if that would yield a fix, no luck train left empty to Fairview unassisted. Quite a quick job infact
