Enterprise service
Why is there still delays at Skerries? The enterprise slows way down until past the scene of the earlier derailment.
Surely this has been fixed by now, almost 4 months after the incident. Also, what's the story with the local train which seems to be be holding up the 16.50 Enterprise almost everyday now. It only delays the train by 10-15 minutes, but it can be frustrating sitting in a a train that's crawling along, having previosly been going along at "high" speed. |

The points damaged in the derailment where replaced on the May bank holiday weekend, 25 mph speed limit will be in place for at least a month while they settle
Dublin bound it shouldn't really delay the train by more than 5 minutes since it has a generous run to Dublin, northbound its a 8-10 minutes issue. Bear in mind all Belfast services are due Dublin 5 minutes ahead of public time anyway The evening Rosslare - Drogheda train and the 20:45 Dublin Belfast no longer get caught up, the Rosslare train was unable to pull over to be overtaken at Skerries until the points where replaced Bear in mind 25% refund applies if enterprise 30 minutes late, 50% at 60 minutes and 100% at 90 minutes There was a security alert at Portadown this morning, probably resulted in more delay than the Skerries issue
