![]() As always Irish Rail fail to proof read the timetable fully and interesting things appear
Example one page 79 Docklands has Luas. Airport and 90 bus connections ??? ![]() |

![]() I thought I heard somewhere recently that the 90 route was to be extended towards the new station until the Luas extension was done. Could be wrong though. I guess one of the 74* buses might be extended as well (or pass if if they're re-routed through the DPT) but the Luas icon is just optimistic

![]() Why does it take 10mins to get from Broombridge to Drumcondra????
Any chance they could fix up the bit of track which causes the problems? Sorry, don't know what it's called, but it's a junction between the two where the trains have to slow down to an absolute crawl? |

![]() 4 1/2 to 5 minutes between Drumcondra and Broombridge is the norm.
However there are a few 'quirky' timings - e.g. the 0700 from Longford is allowed 10 1/2 minutes from B/bridge to D/condra. The 0700 from Longford is allowed 5 minutes from Drumcondra to Connolly whereas the 0758 (Jan 15 timetable) from Maynooth is allowed 9 1/2 minutes; the same train is allowed 5 minutes between Broombridge and Drumcondra. I'm sure there are good reasons for these 'contradictory' timings? Anyone know when the train information screens will be operational on the Maynooth line? Incidentally a door opening/closing problem on to-day's 1322 from Connolly to Drogheda delayed departure until 1334 - it's a 2600 class DMU. |
