And the dates are all goofed up
Friday 13th and Saturday 14th not 15/16 as in survey Awaiting update from IE

Nice to see passengers on the Commuter lines in the greater Dublin area are being thought about as per usual
Last time this was experimented solely on the DART line and didnt work out so well. |

They probably should have used this opportunity to get a price range (although I know it is difficult). A lot of people will not use it if they still have to get a taxi when they arrive at their station, as the train fare is set too high.
Agree about the poor treatment of suburban users.

Costs to operate more than the DART are significant, Maynooth line in particular would need 3 level crossings staffed

Would be surprised if demand would be high enough to justify extra DART services. They might get some business on the 31th but can't see other dates.
Have they not tried this before? |

Operating to Drogheda/Dundalk, Wicklow or Kildare would only incur train crew and security costs. On the down side demand would probably be modest and many of the potential users would most likely hold season/annual tickets. A supplementary fare would be needed to offset additional costs.
