student ticket question

Quick question here:

I am a full-time college student and purchased the required student travel card to get the dart discount.

Is there anyway to purchase a weekly student ticket from the machines? Also, does the ticket have to go from Sunday to Monday - or could it be, say, Tuesday to Monday, etc?

The station is supposed to be manned from Mon-Fri in Glenageary, but there is never anyone there on the Monday when I go in, Tuesday neither. The fare increases don't appear to be to pay for staff to actually be at these stations.

Ticket machines have sold student weekly tickets for years. Select Zonal ticket, pick your zone, last on both lists is the student weekly ticket

Sunday morning to Saturday evening is the validity on all student weekly tickets

For certain journeys an adult ticket may be cheaper as they can be issued point to point whereas student tickets are only available for all zones. Adult tickets can be issued for any 7 consecutive days too.
