LUAS RED LINE 3 WEEK CONNOLLY CLOSURE

Connolly Luas Stop will be closed from Saturday 8th May to Sunday 30th May.

The stop will reopen at 5.30am on Monday 31st May.

The works will only affect certain sections of the stop area and Connolly lifts and escalators will remain open.

We ask Connolly Luas passengers to instead use Busáras Luas Stop during this time. Busáras Luas Stop is a 2 minute walk from Connolly.

This closure is to facilitate stop improvement works which we hope will improve our customer’s experience of Connolly Luas Stop.

The rest of the Luas Red Line will operate as normal.

Thank you for your co-operation.

The FAQ (a word doc - hot buttered fail there) says the works will not affect the rest of the line, but the Heuston shuttle is suspended while Tallaght-Point is at normal frequency.

I'm no rocket scientist but doesn't the suspension of the shuttle mean lower frequencies between Busaras and Heuston?

Luas Red Line Three Week Connolly Closure

Connolly Luas Stop will be closed from Saturday 8th May to Sunday 30th May.The stop will reopen at 5.30am on Monday 31st May.

Connolly Luas passengers should instead use Busáras Luas Stop during this time. Connolly Luas Stop is a two minute walk along the Luas Red Line and across Amiens Street from Busáras Luas Stop.

Croke Park is a twenty-five minute walk northwards from Busáras Luas Stop. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions at the bottom of this page for more information.

This closure is to facilitate stop improvement works which will improve our passenger’s experience of Connolly Luas Stop.

These stop improvement works will consist of new surfacing, Passenger Information Displays (PID’s) and other additional stop furniture.
