09:00 Heuston Cork
I need juice for my laptop on the way down to Cork tomorrow?
Is the 9:00 train from Heuston one of the newer trains that has power sockets at each table? |

9:00 is an ICR so it has sockets
If its a Mk4, sockets behind seat number 5 and opposite the toilet

I'm astonished to note the 22000 ICR's have sockets available throughout - if I read Marks's report correctly - but Mk 4 sets do not?
If this is so it's a disgrace despite hundreds of millions of Euro spent on upgrading the rail system including the most modern of train sets? Smart economy how are you! |

I assume the Mk3s being refurbished will have power sockets at every table. |

What's going to happen with the refurbished Mk3s Thomas? Is it just Belfast that will get them or will Cork get a set too? Does anyone know??

It eliminates the need for empty trains from Cork to Portlaois to swap trains
