Default [21/06/2008] Eric Clapton - Malahide Castle

No extra trains. Scheduled trains only.

Whats the story with using images instead of text? Hardly fair on those with impaired sight.

So basically nothing extra

All the trains listed are 8 coaches anyway, so its hardly specific extra capacity

Still won't be any additional beyond what exists any other day of the week

It is shameful that nothing extra is provided. There is an empty train running Malahide to Fairview leaving Malahide at about 00:15 can't see why that can't be pushed into service, it costs nothing to do so and can simply terminate at Clontraf Rd

Well the Maynooth line stations have the advertisement for eric clapton as well as other gigs on this summer in malahide, rds etc. And at the bottom of this note it advises to purchase return tickets. Of course these advertisements doesn't give any advice for maynooth line passengers.

The first advertised after the concert is the 23:05 ex malahide. This train is normally scheduled to arrive in connolly aroundabout 23:28.

Drogheda/dundalk leaves connolly at 23:20 and gets to malahide at 23:35 also passengers dont have to get to town. maynooth passengers do.

I am aware that due to driver problems there cannot be an extra service without cancelling another which is not on but they should defer the 23:10 Pearse Maynooth by 30 minutes so that passengers can get back.

The eric clapton posters are still on display at the moment.

Did anyone notice though that at the end of the poster it states [this is a generic message appearing on all malahide posters]
