[03/06/2007] Specials for Croke Park matches
Nothing unusual is the fact IE website does NOT provide details for the specials to/from Maynooth/Drumcondra in connection with Sunday's (3rd June) Croke Park matches.
Had to phone to find out - two specials departing Maynooth at 1300 and 1500; returning from Drumcondra at 1750 and 1820. |

It gets better!
The 1741 service train ex Drumcondra next Sunday is replaced by the special at 1750!!! Interesting the fact the IE website shows the 1750 special as a 'regular' train on Sunday? Hope nobody shows up for the 1750 the following Sunday!!! Sorry but it left at 1741!!! They should show the specials as specials and also state the fact the 1741 'regular' is running 8 minutes later for Sunday 3rd June only. IE's customer service/information is, despairingly, so very poor. |

From what i have been told specials from Maynooth are at 12.00, 13.00 and 14.00. There is information at clonsilla stating trains leave from there at 12.10, 13.10 and 14.10. I doubt this information is correct as it normally takes fifteen minutes for trains to get from Maynooth to clonsilla and the specials will be calling at all stops. I also doubt there is a 15.00 special as i doubt it would not reach drumcondra on time for the match.
