Taxis from Farranfore?
I have to travel to Castleisland for work next week and because of a sporting injury, I'm not going to be able to drive it.
So checking it out, it seems the nearest railway station is Farranfore, which is about 10km away. Can anyone advise me of the chances of finding a taxi meeting the trains at Farranfore station? Am I better off just travelling to Tralee and getting one there? Cheers BTW I checked the station section of the Irish Rail website and there's no useful information there. It does however claim the station is on the Limerick-Ennis line |

Why not book one in advance (assuming they are not on strike again)
Little bit of lateral thinking http://www.kerryairport.com/cabs.html

Nice thinking
It's a pity Irish Rail can't maintain similar information for stations, although it would possibly be too much overhead for the smaller ones. |
