parking
can someone please tell me where i can secure info about people parking cross cars in designated areas in lusk station and blocking them in which has happened numerous times if i had an emergency i have to wait until the idiot that parks cross me turns up which can mean a 2 hour wait in carpark irish rail dont want to know and certainly the ncp lot are only interested in the money they extort from us any straight input would be most grateful

You can try talking to the local garda station. Under the Road Traffic Act, the car parks are public places (the test on public for this is whether you need to be invited in or not, payment is irrelevant). Blocking someone in is driving (which includes parking) without due care and attention.
At least ask the garda to pull the vehicle file and phone the owner / driver.

the parking there is all over the place. I have to agree. Especially at the "new" parking lot (the one with all the gravel and no markings). There is always a "funny" layout of parking. Neither NCPS or Irish Rail take responsibilty. Due to the total lack of service and other issues (parking machines not working) I have decided to boycott (that means I walk to the train station, period ).
PS: motorhead let us know if you got any response from the Garda on that matter (in case you contacted them) |
