You can try talking to the local garda station. Under the Road Traffic Act, the car parks are public places (the test on public for this is whether you need to be invited in or not, payment is irrelevant). Blocking someone in is driving (which includes parking) without due care and attention.

At least ask the garda to pull the vehicle file and phone the owner / driver.

the parking there is all over the place. I have to agree. Especially at the "new" parking lot (the one with all the gravel and no markings). There is always a "funny" layout of parking. Neither NCPS or Irish Rail take responsibilty. Due to the total lack of service and other issues (parking machines not working) I have decided to boycott (that means I walk to the train station, period ).

PS: motorhead let us know if you got any response from the Garda on that matter (in case you contacted them)

Not correct, I'm afraid, Jack. Section 3 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 defines:

Quote:
"public place" means any street, road or other place to which the public have access with vehicles whether as of right or by permission and whether subject to or free of charge
and dangerous parking (s55, RTA 1961) is defined in respect of a public place, not "private property" or anything else.
