Default The bridge at Sydney parade

I'm on a bridge rant today!

what going on at Sydney parade with the bridge? While running accross for the DART I tried to avoid a hole and very nearly put my leg through another one. I assume this bridge is going to be replaced (why was this not done during the upgrade?).

Are we going to get a user friendly bridge or will it be one of the nice looking, user unfriendly, takes ages to cross, mazes?

Take a photo please it helps

No plan for a bridge with a lift, since there is level access both sides, remember http://www.platform11.org/news/news....2006&no=7.html

It is to be replaced

The bridge came second hand from Sandymount many moons ago

I can't believe, after me asking for it for years, that I forgot that both sides will soon have access.

Is it being replaced anyway? Any set date

I'll try and remember photos tomorrow, problem is I always get there just in time and have to run over the bridge to catch the train.

I remember seeing a poster at Lansdowne Road when the upgrade works started listing what was to happen in the station, and the list included a new footbridge. I'm not sure why a footbridge is needed when there's an underpass and both platform are now accessable from street level.
