Train Missing on PIS

I went to Tara Street on Monday lunchtime to get the 12:52 southbound DART. Got on the platform at about 12:47 to find that the next southbound train was a service to Rosslare Europort in ~18 minutes and the next southbound DART would not be for 25 minutes. I checked with an IE staff member on the platform and he didn't know about any cancellations or delays.

A DART did eventually show up at 12:58 but never appeared on the board. How can this happen in what I assume is an automated system?
