![]() was on a commuter train today and saw an ad on the train for the lovebox concert that was on in malahide castle last july.
Its not the first time this happened was on a kildare train when it was still being run by 2600's and in july/august i witnessed details of the previous years christmas arrangements and also witnessed one for paddys day arrangements a couple of weeks ago. When do these get changed? you think they'd make a better effort at updating it. you don't see them doing that with the overhead ads as they'd be losing money. |

![]() It has been pointed out that
1. Old notices are left up, there are a few Lansdowne Rd August Bank Holiday ones still up 2. The notices never go up in good time IE managements response We thank you for your comments, yap yap investing, yap yap

![]() Do you know if IE ads on IE trains/in stations are subject to advertising regulations, or are they exempt as they're on "private" advertising spaces?

![]() Well all the 8 coach ads where in train stations as the ASAI has no issue with dealing with the complaints it would seem
If a notice is out of date, its out of date ASAI can't do much there

![]() I'm thinking more of the regular claims that 90%+ of DARTs are on time.
It doesn't say anywhere on the posters that IE's definition of 'on time' means 'up to 10 minutes late'. I checked last time they were up, as I assumed there'd be some small print somewhere. |

![]() Well a complaint may force IE to prove the statement
You could however argue that 1. Poster has no definition of the standard 2. EU standards are either 3 or 5 Since its promoting the service by advertising its alleged performance, its an advertisement And we have a confidential internal IE document with the actual standard
