I arrived in Drogheda this morning to find the 8:32 to Pearse waiting on Platform 1. It normally goes from platform3 to allow the Enterprise through on P1.

I jokingly said to a member of staff, "did someone forget to change the points?"

He wearily nodded his head, saying, "Dublin did," adding, "it makes a real mess of things when they do that."

Doesn't really make much difference from a passenger perspective, (Enterprise was about 5 mins late in Drogheda, on time in Connolly), but I thought it might be of interest to someone.
