Track Improvement Works - Limerick Junction Sat 16th and Sun 17th October by Corporate Communications

Due to Track Improvement Works at Limerick Junction the following arrangements will apply:

Please note a 20 - 30 minute delay may occur.


Saturday 16th October

20.10 Limerick to Limerick Junction is advanced to 19.40 and extended to Thurles and will not serve Limerick Junction.

20.30 Cork to Heuston service will be bus transfers from Cork, Mallow and Limerick Junction to Thurles and by train from Thurles to Heuston. Buses to depart Cork at 20.30 hrs. Train will depart Thurles at 22.15.

20.52 Limerick Junction to Limerick will commence from Thurles at 20.40 and will not serve Limerick Junction.

20.55 Limerick to Limerick Junction service is extended to Thurles and will not serve Limerick Junction.

19.00 Heuston to Cork will operate to Thurles only with Bus Transfers from Thurles to Limerick Junction, Mallow and Cork. Charleville customers will travel by bus to Mallow and by second bus from Mallow to Charleville. Limerick customers transfer at Thurles onto second train departing Thurles at 22.40.

21.00 Heuston to Cork service will operate to Thurles only with bus transfers from Thurles to Limerick Junction, Mallow and Cork. Limerick customers transfer at Thurles onto second train. Train will depart Thurles at 22.40.

21.00 Cork to Tralee is deferred at Mallow until 22.06.

22.50 Limerick Junction to Limerick service will commence from Thurles at 22.40.


Sunday 17th October

08.00 Cork to Mallow is deferred to 08.30.

08.25 Heuston to Tralee will operate to Thurles only with bus transfers from Thurles to Limerick Junction, Mallow and Cork. Charleville customers travel by bus to Mallow and by second bus from Mallow and Charleville. Tralee Passengers transfer from bus onto second train at Mallow and depart Mallow at 11.25 serving all stations from Mallow to Tralee. Limerick customers transfer at Thurles onto second train. Depart Thurles at 10.00 to Limerick.

08.30 Cork to Heuston will be bus transfers from Cork, Mallow, Charleville and Limerick Junction to Thurles and by train from Thurles to Heuston. Buses to depart Cork at 08.30 hrs. Train will depart Thurles at 10.15.

09.35 Limerick to Limerick Junction is advanced to 09.00. It is extended to Thurles and will not serve Limerick Junction.

10.00 Heuston to Cork is deferred to 10.40.

10.13 Limerick Junction to Limerick will commence from Thurles at 10.00 and will not serve Limerick Junction.

10.30 Cork to Heuston will be bus transfers from Cork, Mallow, Charleville and Limerick Junction to Thurles and by train from Thurles to Heuston. Buses to depart Cork at 10.30. Train will depart Thurles at 12.15.

10.50 Mallow to Cork is deferred to 11.35.

10.55 Limerick to Limerick Junction is extended to Thurles and will not serve Limerick Junction

11.47 Limerick Junction to Limerick is deferred to 12.30.

12.10 Cork to Tralee is deferred at Mallow until 13.10.
