Default Durty Filty Politics

So there I was listening to the Wireless when I heard my local TD (recently demoted Junior Minister for a made up department and all) Maire Hoctor, in her own way, trying to say that Brian Cowen had not done the right thing in the reshuffle.

We'll gloss over Mattie McGrath there, foaming at the mouth, and gaze adoringly upon Mr. McGuinness of Kilkenny, who did the deacent thing today and called on Brian Cowen to resign. Good man!! McGuinness has the benifit of course of actually getting some success in the last locals, and therfore may think his seat is safe.

So, North Tipp, South Tipp and Kilkenny all agin the Midlands Leader.

Of course the only thing that is really kepping the Brian Show afloat are those lovely ministerial cars the Greens will be draped over at the party conference. That, and of course, Leo to Lion, having a go at an old man and a hippy, forgetting that they both did more to save this country than he could ever aspire to do.

Ah its the 80's!!! welcome back!! we ahve the recession, we have nonsensicle cutbacks, and now we have a heave against the FF leadership and the old divisions of Social Democrat/Christian Democrat coming back in Fine Gale.

All we need is a decent run in a Soccer championships and it'll be 88 all over again!

on a rail related note we managed to put together the DART project and the mark 3's during the last bad time. Nothing like that now though.
