![]() There was no winner of tonights record jackpot. Saturdays jackpot will exceed sixteen million. I have already got my tickets twenty euros worth. Two questions for you. What would you do with sixteen million. And is there anyone that can spend that sort of money in twenty four hours.

![]() What would I do with it?
1 million to P11 funds for a starter. The rest would be accounted for in the usual fashion.......balance of mortgage in coin delivered to Bank by Securicor and all outstanding debts in the same manner and the hiring of one **** hot accountant/tax/financial advisor. Could I spend it in 24 hours? Eh no problem. I'd ring Dermo88 and look for the best outsiders in the far east. Simple really. Bookies are good for blowing money. Ive done it often enough. |

![]() I was thinking along the lines of money into bank shares in the stock market, two or three million. I would throw a million or two towards the direction of the league of ireland probably shels. throw a million towards charities and the rest would be put into my account to buy a house, car etc. It will never happen so i wont have to worry about it happening!!!!
I couldn't spend it in twenty four hours. I am after becoming too prudent ![]() I love the attitude of some irish people on the lotto. Talking to a girl earlier on she said it was not right for one person to win all that money. When i asked her if she won it would she give some to charity for example she said no way!!! |

I'd hold out for a couple of years and let the **** "float" to the top. Maybe then it would be worth a look. Best bet would be major cash advancement to P11. The return being the best laugh ever! |

Maybe floating CIE would be only way for people (ie through having shares) to have their voice heard. Would be cruel to staff though. |

![]() Well the Lotto wasn't won last night, I am glad I didn't buy a ticket now, only one of my numbers came up. Anyway, I've always assumed that I will win the Lotto at some stage in my life, but I never play. My assumption begins with me walking home from work some evening and finding a ticket on the ground (for some reason I always assume it'll be outside the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis club on Appian Way). Buying a ticket and winning just wouldn't be the same.
Well if I won, the first thing I would do is buy two Leinster Rugby season tickets, one for Derek Wheeler and one for Thomas J Stamp! I also have a long standing arrangement with a college friend that if I ever won, I'd buy him a Smithwicks truck. After that, I'd buy a gaff near the DART line, and with the change a bag of Taytos. We'll see on saturday, if I find that ticket on the ground on the way home either this evening or tomorrow I'll let you know! |

How to spend 16 mil in one day? Buy an Areoplane. What would I do with 16 million? I'd have it all brought into St. Stephens' Green under armed guard, piled up and burnt. Just to spite ye all. |

![]() Ive an agreement with my brother that we would buy two motorbikes each. Havent decided which ones yet. One that note I'll probably be dead before I get to spend anymore of it..
Id invest in property in areas to be served by T21 PT. It's handy knowing where things are going before anyone else does!!! |

![]() 1. 16 Million Euro....
I'd get a million. In Gold Sovereigns, Krugerrands, and Gold bars, and stash that in a safe. Just nice to have money in that kind of tangible form. Works out at about 1,700 ounces of the stuff. 2. House/Apartment in London, Sydney, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Dublin. Each location. Just live out of a suitcase, resident of nowhere, citizen everywhere. With that kind of dosh, you need never ever pay tax again. Lie on a beach and think what happens next. 3. Get my family and friends out of debt. No more mortgages for them. 4. Set up my own business. Property, or Betting. 5. Give up smoking and drinking. With that kind of cash, whats the point in destroying myself having fun...... on second thoughts. 6. Buy a casino. With extra bouncers. 7. Set up an airline....."Smokers Air", with some share capital. Just get an old battered aircraft, and advertise "The only smoking airline in the world". Its guaranteed to make money. ![]() Forgot
Set up a Brewery and make loads of beer. Preferably Weissbier, or we could invent something new. Not to mention the sleaziest rail journey imaginable.....24 hours soaked in all kinds of alcohol, all kinds of everything, and make sure that the coaches were the oldest in whatever companies fleet, so they would'nt be worried about the foam party going on. , and if anyone gets distracted by whatever banger is up front, they have to do a 'forfeit', such as. 1. Walking along the roof while naked, after half a bottle of Vodka. 2. Smuggling some weed past both sets of Immigration officers (The Kruggerands get useful then), but they have to renounce the WRC. 3. Doing an imitation of a V8-567 engine block, with the dining car attendant doing the piston role. 900rpm.....hehehe. 4. Drive. 5. Roll a black morrocan while driving. In any particular order. We could get our American 'friend' over, and he would never worry about the relationship between Platform11 and the Government again. Derek....I think you know what I am talking about from boards.ie. A special bonus, I'd make sure .....that the woman dealing with him had an adams apple. He'd know about the crying game then!!!. On the other hand, don't invite them. They'll only bore us. I bought a Lotto ticket this afternoon, and I believe I dropped it somewhere in the vicinity of the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis club on Appian Way. If you do happen do find the jackpot winning ticket there, I'd be grateful if you could PM me. Obviously, I'd reward you with a generous finder's fee. Perhaps as much as twenty euro. |

![]() Well the bad news is the lotto was won in the south. No major life changing events here for me unfortunately. Anyone else take a trip down south to buy their ticket?
