Passenger's (sic) Charter

I've just been looking at this again, and I think I know why IE continually seem to fail to live up to what's promised in it.

It's not a Passengers' Charter, it's a Passenger's Charter. And in fact, the first line reads "Welcome to the first Iarnród Éireann Passenger’s Charter."

So obviously this means everything within it applies only to the very first Iarnród Éireann Passenger. The rest of us just take our chances.

The identity of this mysterious individual is lost in mists of time, but perhaps one day the Passenger will return to travel amonst us once again, ushering in a golden era of customer service.
