Default Extra Dublin Cork/Limerick Trains

In reality this is really the 2007 timetable implmented in a half arsed way, rumours of this have been floating around for some time.

The status of the 'unoffical' 12:30 Cork Dublin 16:00 Dublin Cork is still unknown

Quote:
Morning services to Dublin Tuesday 5th to Saturday 9th December 2006 by Corporate Communications

Customers are advised that morning services to Dublin from Tuesday 5th to Saturday 9th December are expected to be very busy. In particular we expect the 09.30 and 11.30 Cork to Heuston services to be extremely busy over this period and customers are advised to book online. Additional services will be provided from Cork at 10.30 from Tuesday to Saturday and from Limerick at 10.45 Tuesday to Friday on these days.
Not mentioned is the extra train to Cork at 14:00 from Heuston

Calls Limerick Junction, Mallow

There trains are not air conditioned, have no first, limited or no catering and are short on luggage space and take close on 3 hours, so despite a fleet of new trains a sub standard piece of kit is sent out
