€4 a day certainly does not recover actual costs paid for alternative means of transport. I suspect Dublin Bus refund was aimed at being sufficent to cover an alternative form of transport. But odd that the 2 companies appear to have paid out on a different basis. Envelope containing vouchers suggests it was processed by Capita, so wouldn't surprise me at all if their processing charge matches or exceeds actual refund. And more administration costs involved in whole voucher production, redemption and postage. Last edited by Eddie : 22-12-2017 at 15:46. |
