PA System not working & nasty smells!!

Hi,

I've noticed lately that the PA systems don't work properly on the trains anymore. At least on the Waterford-Dublin line...When the driver or whoever makes an announcement because of a delay, it's muffled and you can generally only hear every second word.

On a related matter, some of the trains are not the most pleasant smelling either!!! There is often a stench coming from the toilets when you're boarding the train before anyone had used them... I have started sitting in the centre of the train because a few times recently there has been a very strong sewage smell on the 18.35 Dublin to Waterford and anyone near the exit had to move seats because it was quite overpowering.

I think a lot of the savings have come in the form of "soft" maintenance - cleaning and making sure the electircal systems are working (properly).
