Default Dublin-Cork: 1040 Fri/Sat only

Other half is going to Cork tomorrow, on the online journey planner it says there's a train at 1040 (runs Friday and Saturday) as well as one at 1100 from Heuston.

Why is this? I've never seen the 1100 so busy to justify another train 20 mins earlier...

Well the 11:00 am has been very busy with people standing in the last few weeks

You can book seats on the 11am but its likely to be a mess since its not set up correctly still.

Get the 10:40am its nice, quick and won't suffer from the funny ride you get on the new train

It may be "positioning" of trains to cater for peak weekend services. So instead of doing what they used to do,"run them empty", they make them available to service.

Encourage herself to take the 11am and review it as a non-biased passenger.(should be a new train)
