Default broombridge yesterday (11-02-09)

Nearly an hours delay due to some sort of signal failure near coolmine.
Suprised there has been nothing here about it.
On the 6.18 from connolly (ex bray). Stopped outside broombridge for 20 minutes. Only one inaudible announcement given.
Then stopped at broombridge station for the guts of 30 minutes.
Driver announced could be there for another 30 so most of the d 15 bound contingent got off train (and went the wrong way over broombridge toward finglas).
Absolute disgrace of a failure, and as usual not a word on their website about it.

I would have been involved in this but was working from home yesterday.

What you describe is another fine example of the shambles when any little thing goes wrong. I doubt very much that the driver was even told what the issue was.
