Iarnród Éireann advises customers that there will be additional capacity for supporters travelling to the Munster Hurling Final in Limerick on Sunday 13th July.

An additional train service will operate from Heuston departing at 09.45hrs, calling at Templemore (10.56hrs), Thurles (11.04hrs) and will arrive into Limerick at 11.55hrs.

Supporters intending to travel by train to the match are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

3 days notice is wonderfully helpful, since we all booked when we got our match tickets

On the return they have made a total mess

The extra returns at 18:50 but you can't book seats on it and in terminates in Templemore (but the train is going to at least pass Ballybrophy as well on its way to depot)

The normal 18:55 to Limerick Junction is now 19:00 and the 18:30 from Cork makes a untimetabled stop in Limerick Junction saving everyone from the normal 20+ minute wait to the Tralee train. Why didn't they tell us that, I'm on the 19:55 since I didn't want 20 minutes in Limerick Junction
