Rang customer services, seems there is a problem with the train and the driver is working on it...... Still no announcement on the train though!

Currently 30 minutes delayed... Still no announcement.. Driver was nabbed by a few passengers and were told that the train was not moving from Donabate and that IE were trying to arrange busses!! This will no doubt affect other Northern commuter trains and enterprise services until the train is moved/fixed.

The latest on this... The doors closed 5 minutes ago... still no announcement!! The train left Donabate.. and has just arrived in Malahide... The driver has just announced that the train is going out of service and passengers have been told to get off the train!! Typical IE Customer Service! Passengers are left on a train for close to an hour at one station and then told to get off the train at the next station!!

passengers were told to get on following Balbriggan to Pearse train. One passenger who got on at Rush stated that there were flames coming out of the rear of the Dundalk train as it passed Rush and Lusk!

Probably the classic 29k seized brakes routine
