At Donabate station we are getting
"We're sorry to announce that the 1946 train to Drogheda due to a train failure at Portmarnock" Doesn't make much sense. |

Give very short odds on the 19:00 Enterprise being the guilty party

Was able to hear that all northern trains were suspended beyond Howth Junct, Dublin Bus accepting tickets etc. so I agreed to pick the girlfriend up at Portmarnock where the driver announced he would be terminating. Once I got to Portmarnock I got a call to say they had gone to Kilbarrack and no further info. So I headed towards there. Once I got towards Kilbarrack I got a call to say the train had started to move and she presumed they were going as far as Portmarnock, as previously stated, so I headed in that direction to get a call to say that the train was back running as normal and to come on home.
A good hour of my night wasted and I wasn't even on the train! |
