Default Monday 06.10 Waterford-Heuston

RUI,

Just wondering if there is any pressure you can put on IE to sort out the train shortage on Monday mornings. The 06.10 service is usually a 6 car set except on Monday mornings due to the Sunday timetable difference.
It is a regular occurance to end up sitting on the floor from Athy to Heuston which is ridiculous for an InterCity service.
I was on to IE earlier in the year (Jan) about it and they were looking into sorting it out....still nothing though.

Thanks

Driver announced that the delay was due to 'heavy fog' in Kilkenny.

It was a 2x3 today, was 25 mins late in Kildare and 10mins late into Heuston.

Heavy fog God help us with winter coming in

Now that I think of it, the train wasn't delayed at Thomastown or Kilkenny? We got into Thomastown and Kikenny on time and we also left on time

The reason for shortage of trains is because of yesterday evening.

17:40 to Waterford - normally 2 by 3 car set but yesterday it was only a 3 car set.

18:40 to Waterford - normally 6 car set but yesterday it was 2 by 3 car set.

But today, 11th, the 0610 was a 6 car ( 2 x 3)!

When the 18:05 departed Waterford there was no spear sets there. The 06:10 may of been delayed because they were sending a set down for the 07:40. If the 6:10 was delayed near Kilkenny it could of been at he junction. Before when I traveled on the 07:10 we meet an out of service train in Ballyhale and the timeings seen to be about right.

This Mon morning train is getting worse, there used to be a slight chance of getting a seat at Athy but that is now gone. Crazy overcrowding every Mon morning, and a half hour delay today just to make it worse. Trolley guy does his best to try and tell people of there are any seats anywhere, IE ticket checker hiding in the cab on his cozy seat.
