08:17 ex Coolmine to Bray and Bridge Hit ??

Was on a very empty 08:17 ex Coolmine this AM which arrived about 5 mins late.
Arrived in Pearse and was informed that a bridge had been struck and that there would be a 20 minute delay.
5 Minutes later, another announcement stating that we should disembark the train.
Train then reversed out of station and 6 minutes later a Dart arrived.

Something doesnt add up......

yeah there was an empty 8-coach train being washed when we arrived into connolly around 9.15am yesterday. You don't see that everyday ( a 8-coach empty train around that time)
