I presume they mean the Nenagh to Limerick commuter service. Not sure exactly when it started.

With it taking an hour from Nenagh to Limerick compared to 45 minutes of the 1970's it was never going to work
Of course the engineering team which was to speed it up, well they got sent to the WRC.
