Default Bridge Strike?

Just heard something on the radio in the background about a bridge strike delaying services on the Galway line. There's nothing on the Irish Rail website. Does anyone know anything about it?

No data at all but the 13:10 Galway Dublin may be delayed by up to 20 minutes

190 delayed after reports of rail damage
Tuesday, 5 February 2008 11:39
190 Iarnród Éireann passengers were delayed this morning following reports that a vehicle had struck a bridge near Athenry in Co Galway.

Following an examination, Iarnród Éireann engineers said they were satisfied that there was no damage to the bridge in Derrydonnell.

The 7am Athlone to Galway train, carrying 190 passengers, was halted in Athenry as a precautionary measure

worth pointing out that that bridge is on the road to athenry just after (200 metres after) the turn-off from the main galway-dublin road. there is nothing on the main road at all to tell drivers of big trucks that this road has a low(ish) bridge - once they see the bridge it's too late to turn around and they go for it anyway
