Discussion towards improving frequency, connections etc...
Moves are afoot for a train every 2 hours weekdays, new signaling, automated level crossings which will pave the way for Sunday by slashing the staff costs[/QUOTE from Ridiculous fares]
Just wondering is there any update on this and will it just entail Waterford to Limerick Junction or will Rosslare Europort and the South Wexford line get more services. |

Given the current financial problems any grand plans are on hold, but the level crossing projects continue
The biggest problem is the resignalling at Limerick Junction and the extra platform, once complete (funded and underway) even with the current signaling a train every 2 hours would be possible as far as Waterford The rough plan is Dublin Cork services in both directions stop at Limerick Junction at the same time more less every second hour with a connection to Limerick (possibly to Galway) and Waterford (possibly to Rosslare). Dublin Waterford is every 2 hours as well in the plan so connections there are well
