The 0750 Bray-Howth has failed between Lansdowne and GCD at 0828. No further details at this time.

After waiting about 15 minutes, I got a southbound train from Killester at about 09:40, which according to displays was going to Bray. Which means either it was the 09:02 running almost 40 minutes late, or it was the 09:39 running almost on time, but they'd cancelled the 09:29 to Dun Laoghaire.

Must be summer - beautiful weather, lots more people taking public transport, Irish Rail equipment falling apart.

The train that failed was 8106, 8112 and 8113 (if my memory serves), with their corresponding 83XXs. At around 0845 it started crawling northbound before everyone was asked to get off at GCD. Then as Mark mentioned the Alstom set showed up and continued the run.
