Default Train Ferry Connections

Why aren't there trains that connect with the departure and arrival of ferries?

i.e. train leaves rosslare 1740, stena ferry arrives at 1800 - makes no sense, nor are there buses...

This has been done to death

A connection was offered over the Summer, usage did not justify the extra cost. Existing passengers not happy, so it returned to normal

There is a evening Dublin Rosslare and a morning Rosslare Dublin which do connect
