Default Technical Payment Difficulties

I have just seen the following on the IE website:

Earlier technical difficulties processing payments has now been resolved

Update: 17:15hrs

Customers please note that the technical difficulties we were experiencing earlier with processing payments are causing issues again and we are currently looking into resolving them, we apologise for any inconvenienced caused.


The headline says they have been resolved, and the text seems to indicate that this is not the case. Are they incapable of putting up a clear and unambiguous message?
