Sorry and thank you for your patience

Luas would like to apologise to all our loyal customers for the recent disruption to service on the Luas Red Line. A major fire in the city centre damaged historic buildings adjacent to Luas tracks and it was not safe to operate Luas in the affected area.

Dublin City Council’s Buildings Department carried out extensive work on the damaged buildings to make the area safe and only then could we operate a full Red Line service.

Luas wishes to apologise to all Luas customers for this unprecedented service disruption.

In order to learn from this unexpected event we would like to get your opinionsand welcome your feedback. Please contact us at the following addresses:

We would also like to extend our gratitude to: Luas Staff, Luas Customers,Railway Procurement Agency, Dublin Bus & Dublin City Council.
