Important Travel Information for Saturday 17th March and Sunday 18th March

Saturday 17th March

Please be advised Luas Red Lines services are currently running between Tallaght/Saggart and Blackhorse Stop only .

This is due to a fire in the city centre this morning which affected buildings close to the tracks.

Luas has being requested to turn off the power to the overhead lines in the affected area to assist the services who are dealing with the aftermath of this incident.

As a result of this there is no tram service between Blackhorse Stop and the city centre.

This will be the case until further notice. All valid Luas tickets will be accepted by Dublin Bus for the duration of this disruption.


Sunday 18th March

Red Line services will operate between Tallaght/Saggart and Blackhorse Stop only.

All Luas tickets will be valid on Dublin Bus.

A limited Luas / bus service will also be in operation serving the following Luas stops: Blackhorse, Goldenbridge, Drimnagh, Suir Road, Abbey, Busaras and Connolly.

The following stops will not be served: Fatima, Rialto, James, Heuston, Museum, Smithfield, Four Courts.

A valid Luas ticket is required to use the Luas / Bus service.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Luas Green Line is operating as normal.
