Got caught up in it today on the 9.50 service from Dundalk.

We stopped at Malahide at 10.50 (not a scheduled stop), and were quickly, though mumbily and barely audibly told that there was a bridge strike, and there'd be a delay. The women beside me (one of which was made late for her job interview

) thought he said there was a strike on.

Got going again at 11.12 or so, bringing the pleasant 2900 journey neatly over the hour and a half mark...
