Dublin Horse Show: 4th - 8th August

One of the great annual Dublin events - ideal to get to by DART, just minutes from Sandymount Station. Kilkenny Arts Festival, 6th - 15th August

10 days of the very best in Irish and international visual art, clasical music, theatre and dance, jazz, world & traditional Irish music, literature, film, architecture, indie music, craft and children’s events. Belfast Taste & Music Fest, 4th - 8th August

Foodies can head north this week for the Belfast Taste & Music Fest at Belfast's Botanic Gardens. Hop on the Dublin-Belfast Enterprise service - particularly so you can enjoy speciality wines and champagnes and more on offer at the event!


Kilkenny v Cork All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final, Croke Park, 8th August

The big two meet - Kilkenny have 32 All-Irelands, Cork have 30. Who'll get the chance to add another? Head to Croker, by Intercity (www.irishrail.ie) or take the DART to Connolly Station, or Maynooth line to Drumcondra.
