Not news IE already working on it, its the only route they can electrify in advance as Heuston won't be wired up anyway which makes Kildare line not feasible till interconnector
The size of the accompanying rolling stock tender is insufficent for the full interconnector project enough for Maynooth and Ballbriggan though
