true story number 1:

A few years ago I was driving over my local bridge and there were some lads with cameras and notebooks hanging out to catch some trains. Yes, I do literally live about 100 yards from the Cork line. I pulled over and had a chat with them. They were all from the UK and I found them very nice people, they even called round to the house. Mrs thomasjstamp was not happy.

true story number 2:

there were two trainspotters on platform 5/6 in Heuston last Friday lunchtime. they stood at the end of the platform and, yes, they had little notebooks. Ah, bless
