Due in Portarlington at 7:51, came in a few minutes late but sat in Portarlington for 30 minutes. No announcements at the station or on board.

Overheard other passengers talking about smoke and a terrible smell (I've been on trains where this happened before but it was always fixed mid-journey). People were outside smoking and said they were told to get on at one point, it was fixed and we'd be off soon.

Told to disembark the train at 8:25 and the 6:35 Limerick train took all the passengers. Arrived about 9:35, apologies announced on board and in Heuston.
