another icy journey this morning - same service, same type of carriage. On these units the heat comes from the vents along the wall by your feet - nothing at all coming from these vents this morning.
I'm not sure if the aircon vents in the ceiling are also supposed to supply heat, but as I could see my breath throughout the journey, I'm guessing they weren't doing anything either. What is the point of giving IE millions to buy new rolling stock if they can't get the basic features on them to work??
