That's exactly what it is. You sit on the same train for 10 mins in Newbridge station and then come back again. You may or may not be charged depending on the conductor.

No sign of the 19.25 to Limerick (with a Sallins stop :) ) but we're pushing for something in that gap.

It's not actually :) It is so called as a line of Poplar trees originally graced the square. Although the alternate spelling has emerged colloqially.

I would share the view that for Heuston commuters the 17.25 is a much better option however the 17.15 is purely stopping in Sallins to drop off the Cherry Orchard guys. So don't follow the point...

Just looked at the online timetables - the 6.30 ex Carlow doesn't mention an Adamstown stop?
There will be war if IR try to remove a service, even an un-timetabled one, once people get used to it....
