Mark the Day return fare has been available 7 days a week for the last 3 or 4 years on the Rosslare route. IE removed the peak Friday and Sunday fare to try and increase business on the line.

The Arklow service needs to start running to Gorey again. This train used to take a lot of pressure off the 13.30 to Rosslare. Passenger numbers are down on the Arklow service as a result.

This happens on a daily basis. The 07.50 Rosslare-Dublin is overcrowded most mornings. Replacing six coach trains with three coach trains does not work without increasing services.

The 1630 to Wexford and 1930 ex Wexford are 29 operated. The 09.05 to Sligo and return trip have also returned to 29 operation. Quite simply there are not enough 22K trains to cover all services.
